The Physical and Infrastructure Asset Managment Program
The Physical and Infrastructure Asset Management program, developed in partnership with CNAM and NewPath Learn, is a premier educational pathway designed to bridge the gap between technical engineering and strategic finance. This course covers the development of high-level asset management policy and strategy. It explores how to align AM objectives with organizational goals and ensure compliance with regulatory, social, and environmental governance requirements.
This course provides the core analytical tools for asset management decision-making. Students will learn to conduct lifecycle cost analysis, develop long-term financial plans, and perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify and mitigate threats to assets and service delivery.
Building on financial and risk fundamentals, this course delves into advanced asset management techniques. It focuses on using data analytics, predictive modeling, and optimized decision-making frameworks to prioritize investments and forecast future asset needs.
This course focuses on translating strategy into action. Students will develop tactical asset management plans, build leadership skills for cross-functional teams, and implement systems for monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
This course covers the practical execution of asset management activities throughout an asset’s life. Topics include the management of operations and maintenance, planning for capital works, and the eventual renewal, replacement, and disposal of assets.
